Schulich Undergraduate (BBA) students in Year 1 and 2 may request a LOA for a minimum of one year. Students in Year 3 and 4 may request a minimum of one term. MBA students wishing to take off two or more consecutive terms must complete this form to remain active in the program. MBA students who need to take a break from their program but already took a break term, must request a leave. Students in one-year Master programs may request a LOA for a minimum of three terms. Schulich International students in all programs: Prior to submitting this request, students are required to consult with Schulich's International Student Support Specialist, on the potential impacts your LOA request may have on your status in Canada. If you have not already done so, please email: intlrelations@schulich.yorku.ca. The deadline to submit an LOA request for the term is based on the last date to drop a course without receiving a grade.
